Ready-made goods.
For most eligible ready-made goods ordered online, you can cancel without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
If you tell us you are cancelling within that period, you normally then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Personalised or made-to-specification goods.
This can include prints or artwork produced with customer-specific names, dates, locations, wording, bespoke illustrations, chosen custom details or other specifications that make the item specifically yours.
This exception only concerns change-of-mind cancellation. It does not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Cancelling before personalised production starts.
If you change your mind before we have accepted the order or before personalised/bespoke production has started, contact us immediately. Where reasonably possible we will stop the work and explain whether any amount is due, particularly if bespoke design work has already been expressly agreed and undertaken.
How to cancel an eligible order.
You can make any clear statement telling us that you want to cancel. Email editions@aligndigital.co.uk or use the Contact page. Please include your name and order number.
You may also use the model cancellation wording below, although you do not have to use this exact format.
Returning goods after cancellation.
For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, you should return the goods within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of return.
See Delivery & Returns for return instructions.
Refunds.
Where a valid cancellation right applies, we will refund amounts due in accordance with applicable consumer law. We may make a permitted deduction for loss in value if goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Your other rights remain.
Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights if goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
